Project Overview

Leveraging global health datasets, I developed an analytical dashboard examining life expectancy, mortality rates, socioeconomic conditions, and health indicators across countries. The project delivers a holistic view of the factors shaping global longevity trends.

Technical Workflow

Data Preparation: Cleaned demographic and health data using Power Query; fixed nulls, standardized country codes, resolved negative/invalid entries.

Modeling: Built relationships between health indicators (GDP, schooling, BMI, mortality rates) to enable multi-variable analysis.

Visual Storytelling: Implemented scatterplots, decomposition trees, trend lines, geographic heat maps, and correlations.

Key Insights

Countries with higher education levels consistently show higher life expectancy.

Infant mortality rate was the strongest negative predictor of longevity.

Wealth alone does not determine health outcomes some low-income countries outperform richer nations in life expectancy due to better public health structures.

Business Impact

This dashboard helps NGOs, policymakers, and international health agencies identify priority regions for intervention and resource allocation.
