This project leverages crime data in Washington state to build an interactive analytics dashboard that highlights crime trends, geographic risk profiles, and time-based patterns. The goal was to provide a comprehensive yet intuitive tool for exploring crime statistics and spotting trends across counties, cities, and time periods.

What It Does

Collects and cleans raw crime incident datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Structures data into relational tables for scalable querying and analysis.

Builds calculated metrics (e.g. crime rate per 100,000 population, trend comparisons, crime-type breakdowns) to support meaningful insights.

Presents findings through an interactive interface (dashboards, charts, maps) that enables users to filter by area, type of crime, and time frame.
